Here is a breakdown of the main Hawaiian islands that you can visit:
Oahu: This island is home to the capital city of Honolulu and is known for its beautiful beaches, bustling nightlife, and historic landmarks like Pearl Harbor. You can find quieter towns, as well, that offer great local culture, such as Haleiwa on the north shore or Kailua on the windward (or east) side of the island.
Kauai: Known as the "Garden Isle," Kauai is a nature-lover's paradise. It is home to Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, as well as beautiful beaches and hiking trails.
Hawai’i Island: Also known as the "Big Island," Hawaii’ Island is the largest of the Hawaiian islands. It is home to beautiful, rugged coastline and several volcanoes, including Kilauea and Mauna Kea, which are still active.
Molokai: Molokai is a quiet island that is perfect for those looking to get away from it all. It is known for its stunning cliffs and beaches, as well as its rich cultural history.
Lanai: Lanai is a small island that is home to two luxury resorts and some of the best golf courses in the world. It contains no stoplights and homes only 3 paved roads on the entire island! Interesting fact: Ultra-wealthy Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison owns 98% of Lanai's 90,000 acres, including the two Four Seasons resorts and many businesses on the island.
Maui: Of course we saved the best for last! Maui is a popular destination for honeymooners and outdoor enthusiasts alike. It boasts beautiful beaches, stunning waterfalls, and world-class golf courses. We are fortunate to experience Maui's beaches, camping and breathtaking sites daily and love sharing all of these jewels with you!
